    A couple of days ago I saw a swarm of parakeets in the park. I spent about 2 hours making pictures of these beautiful green creatures, so here´s my favourite shot. Later on I found out that they originate from India and were brought to the Rhineland (western Germany) as pets in the mid 80' and than some birds escaped...Today only Düsseldorf has a wild population that counts about 800 of these birds...by the way - they are up to 40cm tall!
