This is Winston. He came to the Safari Park at age 13 from a private collector in Europe. He had never seen another gorilla. Luckily, maternal gorilla Avila took him under her "wing" and taught him everything about being gorilla. Avila is 56 now. Winston is 42, a father and the protector of his family.-There aren't any bars between Winston and me-but there is a deep moat.Taken with a 400mm lens.
