    The Mass Rock.. Set deep in Oughaval Woods, County Laois, Ireland is this Mass Rock. In Penal Law times in Irish history, Catholics took to remote locations to continue to attend mass. Under British rule at the time they outlawed people from practising the Catholic faith.
