    Reported by:

I was recently in Cairns to see the great barrier reef and we must have arrived in fruit bat breeding season. All of the trees around town were swamped by the bats and the screeching and flapping was non stop 24/7. Most of them were up in the trees and I was able to capture this close up using a 500ml sigma zoom and a Nikon D7000.
