Phantasmagorie
So many times, when showering and pondering about life (as we all do) I would stand and watch my distorted reflection in the shower head. This interaction inspired me to compose a story, something scary, surreal yet real at the same time. So one day, I placed the shower head at the bottom of the shower, got my model to pose over the shower head, and then I started shooting the reflections I saw. This is how my ghost story came to life, and Phantasmagorie was born.
This is so cool. I was first taken by the abstract, almost comedic feel to this image, but after reading your caption, this has taken on a deeper meaning to me. I love being able to "see" your intent. This is exactly the type of photography i wanted for this assignment, something that could be made from a real situation, but made to look fantastical.
