Edit Photo Details Loi Krathong Festival   #festival
This picture was taken during Loi Krathong festival in thailand. It takes place usually on the evening of full moon, usually in the month of November. Loi means float in thai . The floating Krathong(decorative floats/candles) symbolizes letting go of all one's hatred, anger, and defilements. People sometime cut their fingernails or hair and placed the clippings on the krathong as a symbol of letting go of negative thoughts.
