This is an image I took at The Thai Elephant Conservation Center in Lampang, Thailand. I lived here for a week and spent everyday working with this man Song, and caring for his elephant, See Dor Dor. Mahouts (elephant caretakers/trainers) have very special connections with their elephants. I observed this intense love and devotion while I worked with Song and See Dor Dor.
