    I was out on New Year's Day snapping some shots of lighthouses off of Lake Michigan. This is the lighthouse in Holland, Michigan. It was a bitter cold gloomy day. It was snowing sporadically as ice began to swirl and form on Lake Michigan. My fingers were numb but I loved every minute of it.
