Waiting to board the bus, I captured a fellow traveller within a puddle in Whakarewarewa Forest, car park. Taken in the month of July (winter in the southern hemisphere) the redwoods provided a still yet mysterious backdrop to my unsuspecting subject. The gradual cloudy hue of the image in the puddle coupled with the inverted shoes plays with the reality of this moment.
