The love of reading starts at a young age when children are frequently read to and provided with books. Here, my then 1 year old granddaughter was totally absorbed in looking at and enjoying books. The sun's light through the window created a halo around her head, making her look like a little angel-- a reading angel. 7 years later, this same little girl is an excellent reader and has a passion for reading.
