    These magnificent creatures every day wash up on high tide to cling to rocks only to hope to survive the day until the next high tide takes them back out to sea. The bony, calcified skin is no match for their predator the seagull. The seagull in one swipe can tear off a limb of a Sea Star. However, the untamed Sea Star has the ability to regenerate limbs lost in the event of a causality. These creatures are the unsung heroes of the ocean waters.
