    The Savannas is a body of fresh water that is separated by a ridge from the saltier Indian River Lagoon. It runs from Jensen Beach to Ft. Pierce Florida about 2 3/4 miles west of the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. Most of the Savannas is a state park including the location of this Sunset.
