Edit Photo Details Screech Owl   #msdollysphotos
The owl was sitting near my screen door and when I opened the door, this Screech Owl flew to the bannister of the covered porch. The weather was terrible as it was an ice storm. The owl had landed on my porch to spend the night out of the storm. I quickly got my camera and got this close-up. I could almost touch him. He was not quite six inches in height. A beautiful encounter with nature's critters.
