During a hike in those beautiful landscapes, we crossed many kids in their white uniforms coming back from school. In Sri Lanka, school is free but the children need to buy their own material and some of them walk more than four hours in total each day to go and come back from school. This is why the tourists coming there bring pencils and notebooks for them, and there is nothing better than seeing a great smile after that !
