    This picture was taken in North Carolina with a Nikon D3100 digital SLR camera. For my sample size I chose to focus on a single flower, because of its distinct patterns and color variations, which contrast how most people view North Carolina's biodiversity. This photograph shows that biodiversity can be found not only in far off lands, but also right in one's own backyard.
