Just an average morning on the Nicoya Peninsula. A capuchin, aka whiteface monkey spans the overhead phone lines in search of a safe path through the sporadically inhabited dry jungle hillside above Montezuma, Costa Rica. The first, and apparent leader of a pack of about 18 monkeys, which included two mommas with babies clenched tightly to their backs, leading them safely through the trees above the barking dogs and me watching from below.
