I took my nephew out today for his first "photo walk" and let him use an old camera of mine. It was such a joy to see the wonder in his face when he would take a picture and capture an image he was proud of. Teaching him how to frame images, watch the lighting, and to look for the unexpected gave him a whole new perspective on nature. He was just taking a picture of a knot in a tree but was thrilled with how it turned out! Got him hooked :-)
