August 2013, summer's day, anise hyssop (Agastache 'Blue Fortune") in full bloom in my backyard, with amazing anise aroma and lavender flower spikes waving in the wind. Miss Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly (state butterfly of Virginia) spent an hour feasting on the nectar. I spent the hour photographing her every few seconds. By the time I shot this photo, I could have sworn her belly got bigger! Native butterfly drinking from native plant said "Thanks for the healthy habitat!"
