Helleborus
First blooms on my helleborus this year. My Mom tried growing this plant for several years before she passed away in 1996. She would cover it with a protective covering in the winter and baby it so much we teased her about it and it never bloomed well. After she died, my Dad just let it go and it bloomed profusely every year! It multiplied so well that I brought a piece of it to my house last year and it's thriving in my garden. Just another little memory of Mom and her flowers to cherish.
