Dewy Dragonfly
Not far from downtown Cadillac, MI is the Carl T. Johnson wetland preserve. Dragonflies tend to bed down here in a field that opens up yards from the marsh. On cool mornings, the dewy winged insects sit, waiting for the sun to dry them off so they can take to the skies once more. During this period they can be easily photographed, their beautiful wings covered with tiny droplets!
