Inari, 12 March 2014: I started my 3rd week of this 5th trip to Northern Lapland in Finland. I could witness the most breathtaking auroras that I have ever seen up there in Lapland! Despite that there had been no forecast announcing strong activity, the auroras were dancing high in the sky, they were also very bright and very fast. Coronas appeared several times. I went back home only after seeing some glow on the Eastern sky, a sign that daylight would soon take over.
