Edit Photo Details Storm Channel House   #children #india #homeless #pondicherry
In a country with over a billion people, not everyone is lucky enough to have four walls and a roof, but after Hurricane Thane struck Pondicherry in December, 2011 there were thousands more looking for shelter. We saw this child playing in the storm channel near our ashram on the first day we were there. In subsequent days it became apparent that this was not a playground—it was his home.
