My wife and I live on the Upper West Side of Manhattan on the 11th floor of a pre-war building right off of Broadway. It's not the fanciest building, it's not the biggest apartment, but it is definitely home for us. Despite what many may think about NYC, 11 floors up, it can be a very peaceful place. This photo was taken from our bed and I truly think it captures the peacefulness of the our home as the sun was rising on an early August morning.
