Edit Photo Details The Old Hay Barn   #nature #home #childhood
This is an old barn where we used to have picnics as children. Many years ago it was destroyed in a fire, but in its desolate state has a charm of its own. It reiterates how temporary all the places that house our memories are, but how enduring and precious the recollections are. I found the barn in its derelict state beautiful for the way nature seems to pour in through it. When it is still and benign like this nature feels like the ultimate home.
