When i visited Pokhara in 2012, I made an attempt every morning while having breakfast to get a perspective of why the Nepalese coined Mount Machhapuchchhre(in Annapurna Himal) as Fish tail mountain. After several sunrise sightings I began to slowly accept the perspective that this mountain was indeed shaped like a Fish tail. Apart from the resemblance of a fish tail this peak is extremely striking and very steep over a short distance.
