Recalling one fateful day in May, 2012, up on a hill, somewhat lost on the outskirts of Pokhara, Nepal, I found myself overcome by an unexpected torrential downpour, complete with gusty winds that deafened a call for help, where not a soul could be seen in any direction. I remain grateful to this woman and her teenage son for their kindness to a stranger and a welcome hot cup of tea.
