Edit Photo Details Glass Beach in Fort Bragg   #beach #glass #fortbragg #polluteddump #glassstones
The Smoothened glass that you see in the photo above combined with smooth stones once were broken shards of glass thrown away on the headlands coast of Fort Bragg, California. This became a popular dump back in 1916, because despite its main purpose of being a dump, it is also a little street where old friends meet. After many years, the tide has washed in and out and broken these waste in pebble sized pieces which became smooth in the edges and this is how Glass Beach has evolved.
