    On my recent trip to Namibia I was awed by the magnificent sand dunes of Sossusvlei. The shapes are created by the wind, the burnt orange color by iron oxide, and the shades and highlights by the sun. We drove out from our lodge in the early morning to Namib Naukluft National Park where each dune is
