We went on a picture trip to the villages surrounding our native city, Iasi. In Harlau, we found Mister Ion and his dog, Azor. Living the peaceful life of a peasent, he found joy in the simplest of things. Both his children were working in the big city, his wife died a few years ago, so he was left with his love of animals. A dog rescuer, Mister Ion had a dozen of dogs that he had picked from the streets and sheltered in his back yard. His favourite, Azor, was a present from his late wife.
