Sharks are not our enemies and are essential in the marine eco-system. For too long they have been unfairly portrayed as vicious man-eaters by the media. Fortunately with the help of social media I believe the message of shark conservation is getting across and less people are fearing this beautiful creature of our oceans. Instead realising that they are in need of urgent protection from the shark fin trade and pointless culling programs. Long live the shark.
