This is the closest I could get with my 600mm lens and one set of extension tubes. Rufus (a Rufous Hummingbird) very patiently posed for me. He used the Sunlight to illuminate his throat feathers. A nice addition is the reflection of his throat feather color on the lower surface of his beak.
