This was the final stretch for my husband and I after backpacking for four nights in Yosemite. This picture was taken about 1/3 of the way down, and we were glad that our packs were light at this stage of our hike. There are many, many switchbacks on this trail, and this shot of the falls and Half Dome was the payoff for our efforts. Lots of people do this hike and take this shot. It still is my favorite and worth every step.
