The Piano is my sanctuary. I visit when I am happy, when I am sad, or when I need a moment to clear my thoughts. The cloudiness disappears. I can wander freely among my inner melodies. All that matters is the black and white before me. My hands move without thought and out pours whatever is on my mind. My bliss or my anguish. My triumph or my defeat. Movements and rhythm. I become lost in it. And when I lift from the last note, I feel new again.
