These two Red-Shouldered Hawks had just mated in a tree, and the only reason I hadn't caught them actually mating was because that darn branch was in the way! I was so upset. But at the same time I did get this photo of the two of them sitting side-by-side looking at each other... as of having a little bit of post-mating pillow talk.
