A window to our heart, to our conscience
A lucky day to me, a passionate birdwatcher, when I came across this beautiful scissor tailed nightjar.
But when I got back home, and zoomed in into the eye of the bird I saw myself portrayed, standing there taking the picture.
An undeserved privilege, as we the homo sapiens are destroying the planet.
The beautiful eye thus presented to me as a window to every man`s dark heart, dark conscience. I felt the judgement of nature.
Far back in the eye, however, we can still see a hint of the sky.
