These swings are temporarily constructed during the fall holiday season in Nepal. When I asked my friend why they're temporary, he replied by asking if I kept my Christmas tree up all year. Feeling I didn't fully understand his answer, he further pointed out that farmers need to use the land once the holidays have ended.
