    Since the earthquake and tsunami that stuck this region in 2011, tourism to this area has dropped drastically. Though people are coping up with the devastation it's rather been slow because this region also depended heavily on tourism industry. In this photograph I have tried to capture the essence of this wait for tourists depicted by a lone standing tripod w/o a camera on the shores of Jodogahama beach facing a magnificent sunrise.
