Shot early in the morning after watching the sunrise at the beach at Tongsai Bay on the island of Koh Samui in Thailand. Typically this rather large robin has black and white plumage, but the dawn light gave the plumage a lovely bluish tinge. Calls with a long, loud, melodious whistle.
