The rain took a break this week, at least temporarily (this is the northwest, after all), and my brother and I headed up to the awesome mountain, Silver star, which is practically in our backyard. We climbed a little thing called pyramid rock, then a bigger one called sturgeon rock, which offered a lovely view of the moon rising over Mt. Hood in our lovely neighboring state of Oregon
