A few of the original Guerrilla Girls gave a short lecture at Pace University last fall. After the talk, I asked them to pose for a portrait together--wearing their masks, of course. I was thrilled when "Alice Neel" picked up her banana prop and struck this pose. The gorilla masks already seem to be grinning, but I love imaging the smiles of the ladies underneath.
