The Caribbean Carnival comes to Leicester every August, and it's a great celebration of the vibrant Caribbean culture. As the UK's first city where the Caucasians are a minority, this festival demonstrates multiculturalism working at its finest. The parade of dance troupes in extravagant costumes brings a riot of colour through the city, as well as upbeat music, and smiles despite dancing in the (all to often) English rain!
