    Nicknamed the “Armchair” Beverly, this Cord was unique for the time in that it provided each occupant with a set of armrests. Priced at $3,000 in 1936, it was a competitor to the Cadillac. However, because the Cadillac was bigger (you appeared more wealthy) and offered bench seats, it ultimately won out over the Cord.
