The view at the top is always spectacular, we were extremely high up, the journey up (with the aide of snow shoes) was difficult enough, the gradient was very steep indeed, but the view speaks for itself, you can see our ship in the distance, the Plancius is a great ship, very well appointed, not a "cruise" ship but more an expedition vessel with scientist, geologists and marine biologists to help make our journey about education as well as a holiday.
