The last flicker in the Mughal lamp
This is the last monument that depicts the glory of the great Mughal empire before it faced complete decline. Here the fading light that enters in an arc inside the monument briefly lights up the insides, almost as if trying to reveal the one-time glory of a fading beauty before it disappears forever. A fitting tribute to the last spark, before the lamp went out completely for a dynasty that ruled India for more than three centuries.
