    Edit Photo Details The Hindu Islamic Screen   #architecture #india #window #blackandwhite #hinduislamic
This small window overlooking the Divan-e-Aam is from where the queen vitnessed the sessions. Screens like this can be seen around Jaipur in abundance if one notices. This one in perticular is atop Ganesh Pol in Amer Fort. It is a rare example where Hindu and Islamic architecture are present in a single piece. The flower in the center adds the hindu element to the dominant star pattern which is a common sight in islamis architecture around the world.
