These frogs liked to hide from the heat by clinging to the backs of window the shutters on the cottage I was staying in on Eleuthera. I don't know if this species can vary its skin colour, but they camouflaged very well against the cream-coloured paint; so much so that when they closed their eyes and drew in their limbs they looked like nothing more than an abnormality in the wood.
