Walking through the streets of a small village with a DSLR around my neck generally means that I have children chasing after me, begging for their picture to be taken. But this little girl did not follow suit. She stayed on her "porch" with her mother and brother and watched intently as I made my way through the crowded market. When I turned the camera towards her, she didn't move an inch. She just starred back at me directly into the camera.
