    Edit Photo Details Waking up   #hippo #botswana
    Hippos sleep all day and wake up just before dusk to head out for the night's foraging. This shot was taken lying on the ground at the edge of a pond dangerously close to these big mammals. To get this shot I had to get close and wet.
