I usually photograph birds, animals, insects and flowers. That's what's mostly in my gallery. But today I used my skills at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, photographing the cars racing at Indy 500. Being my first time, the major mistake I made was to carry my tripod! Forget it! So for three hours I stood at the top of the stands and hand-held my 500 mm f/4 lens! But I had a great view of Turn 3. Here is Ryan Hunter-Reay, this year's final winner, taking that turn.
