    Reported by:

Flipping from the back of a dive boat off Sipadan island, Malaysia, these trevally (jacks) were swirling by the hundreds in a giant vortex. They swam in such dense numbers they blocked out the sun and the view of other divers beyond them. It truly felt like it was just me and the fish. An amazing experience and sight. Common at Sipadan, but less so elsewhere where unsustainable fishing techniques and environmental pressures are taking their toll. We need to learn to love our oceans more.
